New York City is essential to your American experience. You havent seen America until youve followed Broadway all the way to Times Square, stepped out of the subway at the foot of soaring skyscrapers, or grabbed a hot dog or pretzel from a cart in the street. We think you need at least two days to take it all in.
The nations capital is full of fun (and FREE) activities for visitors from around the world. Walk along the National Mall from the Washington Monument to the Capitol Building and visit one of the Smithsonian Institution museums along the way. Go for a walk along the Potomac and relax in a park or restaurant at the Georgetown waterfront. Afterwards, head to the Kennedy Centers Millennium Stage for free performances every day of the year or to DuPont Circle or Capitol Hill for a meal in one of the many good restaurants.
